Johndec Safetyflow non-hazardous aerodynamic fume cupboards meet exacting standards and recommendations for safety and containment in the laboratory. The Safetyflow Fume Cupboards comply with the Australian Standards 2243.8 and are wholly manufactured in Australia.
Johndec Safetyflow Fume Cupboards are manufactured from the best flame retardant grade thermoplastics. The material of construction will be specially determined, based on the fume cupboard application and use of chemicals.
The Johndec Fe3000 fume control system a compact electronic module also makes compliance with the Australian Standards exacting conditions simple, safe and cost effective.

With more than 30,000 students at undergraduate and postgraduate level, approximately 6,000 of whom are international students originating from over 100 countries outside Australia.
ECU Joondalup Science Building
Johndec Engineering Plastics WA were very proud to be part of the recently completed ECU Joondalup Campus Science Building, a five-level science building including 2,500m² of laboratory space over two floors.
The building’s laboratories are state of the art, large-scale, and purpose-built to the Australian safety standard for handling and studying potentially hazardous materials.
Johndec Engineering Plastics WA worked closely with Centigrade Mechanical Services to manufacture and supply equipment for this project, to a very tight production schedule.
As always, it was a pleasure to work with Centigrade Mechanical Services on this project.

Can plastics replace metals and other conventional materials?
Can Johndec Engineering Plastics WA products be used outdoor?
We use polycarbonate plastic as a replacement for glass. Polycarbonate sheets are lightweight, durable, and can be manufactured with high optical clarity. Polycarbonate plastic is also UV resistant as well as heat resistant. In fact, polycarbonate plastic won’t even begin to melt until 120C, or 248F.
